Winterizing your spa |

First, add a disinfectant/cleaner to the spa water. This will clean the deposits that have built-up in the pipes. (Remember to remove your filtering element before you do this). Once you have finished the disinfectant treatment, empty the spa. During this operation, hose down the sides of the spa. Disconnect the plumbing connections for the pumps and blowers. With a vacuum provided for this purpose vacuum off the water from the pipes and from the filtering and circulating elements. (For added security, vacuum off the water from each jet that may be left in the pipes). Even if you drain the water, itis important to remove the drainage stoppers from the pipes, where applicable |
