I have cloudy swimming pool water what should I do? Cloudy or hazy water can be treated and cleared in your swimming pool. Follow the following steps to ensure that you correctly remove cloudy water in your swimming pool enviroment:
- Continue to circulate swimming pool water 24 hours per day. Timers on swimming pool pumps are not recommended when pool water problems occur.
- Clean all debris from skimmer basket and pump basket.
- Direct return jets downwards at a 45 degree angle.
- Shock pool using SWAT (300g bag treats 50,000L, 600g bag treats 100,000L).
- For very cloudy pools place 1 KLEAR SOK into your skimmer basket (for sand filters only) or use 80ml per 10,000L of CALYPSO QUICK (see label on bottle for directions). For mildly hazy pools add 50ml per 10,000L of CALYPSO KLEAR directly into swimming pool water.
- Next day backwash sand filter and remove empty KLEAR SOK from skinner basket.
- Clean sand (or cartridge) filter using CALYPSO PURE.
- Bring pool water sample to your CALYPSO dealer for water balance assistance.
